Hi, I'm Matthew Kreitzer. I am an attorney practicing law in Winchester, VA. I help people deal with legal problems.
I graduated from the College of William and Mary School of Law in 2013. During law school, I clerked for a Juvenile and Domestic Relations Judge in Alexandria, VA. While clerking for the Court, I learned about issues related to Children in Need of Services, Custody and Visitation disputes, childhood asylum, juvenile offenders, and the role of a Guardian ad Litem. Additionally, I have interned for a Federal Agency that was dedicated to investigating and resolving child crime.
Since graduating from Law School, I have been a managing attorney for two separate ventures: first with the law ofices of Tommy Andrews, P.C. in Alexandria, VA, and with Booth & McCarthy in Winchester, VA. At both positions, I have provided representation to clients on issues relating to Mental Health, Childcare, Contract Disputes, and Criminal Law. I am not currently taking any new cases as I am transitioning to a new firm.
My certifications and admissions include: Guardian ad Litem for Incapacitated Adults, Guardian ad Litem for Juveniles, Court Appointed Counsel for Indigent Defendants, the U.S. Tax Court, and the Bankruptcy Courts of Eastern and Western Virginia.
